Summary
Join Alexa Translations as a Senior Project Manager and become the key relationship manager, responsible for nurturing and expanding client and resource relationships. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and resource allocation to execution, completion, and follow-up. This role demands exceptional customer experience delivery, meticulous planning, and proactive problem-solving to ensure client satisfaction. You will manage both your own projects and those of team members, maintaining open communication with all stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills, along with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Requirements
- Possess a college diploma, university degree, or equivalent
- Have 5+ years of experience in Localization Project Management, managing complex projects
- Hold a project management certification (PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Be bilingual (English/French)
- Be available to work from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm (EST)
- Have experience in the technical, communications, or SaaS industry
- Have proven experience managing relationships with middle and senior managers in client/partner interactions
- Have extensive experience managing teams, coordinating across multiple departments, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven, impactful decisions
- Be able to build relationships and maintain communication with various stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and managed
- Be capable of handling conflicts within teams or with clients while maintaining professionalism and project alignment
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing environments, priorities, and challenges
Responsibilities
- Be fully responsible for the entire lifecycle of the client experience for all projects within their area
- Ensure thorough planning and agreement among stakeholders regarding process, budget, timelines, deliverables, and communication methods
- Educate clients as an integral part of the project process
- Carefully plan and select all resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Oversee the execution of projects, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned
- Ensure follow-up calls are made with stakeholders after project completion
- Maintain relationships with clients and requesters for recurring or contracted clients
- Complete preparations, agreements, and planning well in advance of project execution
- Proactively solve problems to prevent client issues and address client concerns
- Conduct QA evaluations when necessary
