Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology, HR, or payroll software delivery
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
  • Experience using project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills—you know how to keep teams aligned and projects moving forward

Responsibilities

  • Lead project scoping sessions to gather requirements and define key deliverables
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and risk assessments
  • Work closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to align expectations and ensure seamless execution
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and budgets, keeping all stakeholders informed
  • Oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring smooth payroll and HR software implementations
  • Act as the go-to person for project updates, maintaining clear and proactive communication
  • Set up and manage collaboration tools to ensure transparency and efficiency
  • Track key project metrics, identifying risks early and taking proactive steps to mitigate them
  • Handle scope changes and budget variations with confidence, balancing client needs and business objectives
  • Ensure technical requirements are well understood and properly implemented
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, fostering a culture of trust and partnership
  • Facilitate clear, proactive communication—ensuring no surprises
  • Navigate challenges with a problem-solving mindset, addressing conflicts professionally and effectively
  • Ensure key approvals and sign-offs are documented to keep projects running smoothly
  • Drive excellence at every stage of the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Continuously refine project management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in project management and HR/payroll software implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a consulting environment is a plus
  • A project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a bonus
