Summary

Join our team as a Management Consultant to lead transformational initiatives within a government organization. You will manage integrated processes and procedures for a team, overseeing projects focused on workforce modernization, data management, and organizational optimization. Responsibilities include developing project management plans, performance indicators, and visual representations of goals. You will also create program management review templates and assist in measuring organizational health and performance. This role requires extensive experience in government and organizational improvement, a Master's degree (preferably an MBA), and specific certifications. The ideal candidate will possess additional certifications and familiarity with various HRIS platforms.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience with Government and 10+ years of experience in managing and evaluating organizational improvement initiatives
  • Able to meet security and privacy requirements: Tier 1 / National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI)
  • Masterโ€™s degree, preferably MBA
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Lean Six Sigma

Responsibilities

  • Manage integrated processes and procedures for a team of personnel responsible for transformational initiatives in several support areas
  • Provide a Project Management Plan (PMP) to include an approach to the management of the project schedule; staffing roster; quality control plan; risk management plan; communications plan; and issues log
  • Assist the customerโ€™s Performance Management Division (PMD) in developing a comprehensive set of indicators to measure and monitor organizational health and performance
  • Develop and update visuals/graphics that depict cascading goal structures
  • Develop a PMD Program Management Review (PMR) Template for completion by PMD staff on a quarterly basis. The template shall include cost, quality, schedule, resource status, and analysis of metrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification or similar
  • Demonstrated experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present workforce data insights
  • Familiarity with workforce planning tools like SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar HRIS platforms
