Project Manager

Summary

Join FlexTrade Systems, a leading provider of trading solutions, as an experienced IT Project Manager. Lead and manage global IT infrastructure and cloud projects, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and mitigate risks. This role requires 5-7 years of experience managing global IT projects, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with various cloud platforms and project management tools.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience managing global IT projects, preferably in financial services or related industries
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in: Linux and Windows system administration and upgrades, Citrix administration and upgrades, Networking (LAN/WAN), Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware Cloud (VMC), Disaster recovery and business continuity planning, Experience transitioning workloads to hybrid/public cloud environments
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence, ServiceNow)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in high-pressure environments
• Experience working in remote and distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of global IT infrastructure and cloud projects
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, track progress, and mitigate risks
• Ensure alignment with business continuity and disaster recovery strategies
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
• Experience in banking, hedge funds, asset management, or investment banking
• Knowledge of ITIL or service management frameworks
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services
• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
