Project Manager

Summary

Join Granicus as a Project Manager and play a key role in the successful implementation of our platform for government clients across the United States. You will manage medium to large-sized projects, create project plans and reports, identify and mitigate risks, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role requires expertise in the Granicus platform and strong project management skills. You will collaborate with internal and external teams, ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in software/tech, specifically in project management, business analysis, consulting, customer onboarding, or training. Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience working in software/tech, specifically around project management, business analysis, consulting, customer onboarding and/or training
• Understand process improvement and how to effectively apply it to the customer’s software implementation experience
• Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Demonstrate and ensure timely and thorough communication of strategy, deliverable status, and results
• Proven ability to flex between the technical and business sides of your brain – engineers and cross-functional team members alike love to work with you
• Able to work with multiple cross-functional teams to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions
• Relentless commitment to doing the most valuable work first
• Excellent communications skills – listening, verbal, and written
• Can work both independently and as a member of cross-functional teams, some remote

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large sized customer projects from start to finish
• Manage large, cross-product, platform implementations from start to finish
• Create and maintain project plans, project status reports, and relevant project documentation
• Identify potential implementation risks and mitigation – as early as possible
• Serve as an advisor to the customer as they improve their online processes
• Collaborate with Implementation Consultants on requirement gathering sessions, both internal and external
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
• Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings and provide feedback to the team
• Create test plans and facilitate user acceptance testing of custom-built services
• Collaborate and work closely with internal partners; you will be fostering relationships with coworkers across the company to support their efforts while delivering products
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
• Responsible forGranicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) ofGranicus information assets in accordance with the company'sinformation security program
• Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
