Summary

Join Shift Technology's project management team as a cornerstone of client relationships. You will manage the delivery of solutions, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include participating in project sales, defining profitability methods, and contributing to strategic internal projects. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, at least 5 years of project management experience in IT or insurance, and fluency in Japanese and English. Requirements

  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written; you know how to make complex things feel simple
  • You already have experience (at least 5 years) in project management for IT and/or insurance companies
  • You are comfortable managing multiple projects and simultaneously dealing with the pressure of delivering an excellent service to our customers
  • You are a native Japanese speaker and you can communicate clearly in English

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our growing team to help increase our footprint in the Japan market
  • Manage overall delivery of the solution by linking Shift Technologyโ€™s and clientsโ€™ technical teams
  • Ensure client satisfaction during the entire lifecycle of the product
  • Participate in stages of project selling (answer tenders / RFP, define project methodology and organization, validate client requirements, develop SOW, etc.)
  • Define profitability methods (pricing, commercial offers and business cases)
  • Play a role in shaping the internal workings of the company by executing on strategic internal projects to help us become more effective as a company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Being certified in PM certifications such as CAPM, PMP or Prince2 is a plus
  • You are dynamic, curious and eager to learn, always looking to expand your fields of expertise
  • You show leadership by being proactive and taking ownership of your work; you often come up with new ideas to improve our service quality, and know how to get your teammates behind them
