Summary

Join VirtualResource (VR), a boutique consultancy specializing in HR systems and Workday optimization, as an experienced Project Manager. Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Oversee daily tasks, act as the single point of contact for stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and complex project management skills. This remote role reports to a Global Programme Manager and offers flexibility while requiring effective communication and time management. The role focuses on Absence and Time Tracking transformation for a Canadian client, centralizing and streamlining processes and technology.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years project management experience in HR Transformation Projects (preferably including ATT or ATT Technology changes)
  • Expert communications, including in-person and virtual meeting facilitation
  • Proficient with MS Office β€” MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular
  • Ability to influence cross geography teams and achieve cross divisional alignment
  • Ability to work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to effectively work in a highly matrixed organization, handling competing priorities and connecting the dots across
  • Fluent English and French communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration across regions and functions

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update project plans and activity schedules, providing regular reports on project status, successes, and challenges to stakeholders, the Program Manager, and the Steering Committee
  • Manage the delivery of the Absence and Time Tracking transformation project for the client's region in Canada with a particular focus on centralizing, streamlining, and simplifying processes and technology
  • Oversee the performance of all project team members, including external stakeholders such as vendors, IT teams, and local colleagues
  • Collaborate with relevant subject matter experts and program leadership to implement communication and change management initiatives across key stakeholders and the Steering Committee
  • Identify, manage, and report project risks and issues (RACI), ensuring adherence to quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with Finance partners and other relevant functions on project planning and forecasting as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in applying key HR and human capital concepts in prior projects (nice to have)
  • Workday Absence and Time Tracking knowledge
