Project Manager

Requirements

• Professional level proficiency in written and spoken French and English
• 5+ years experience in compliance, audit, or project management within fintech or financial services, with a focus on mobile money or payments
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks
• Proven experience leading audits, exams, or regulatory inquiries, with hands-on experience in project management
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage internal coordination for regulatory compliance exams and audits ensuring the company is well-prepared
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g. legal, risk, operations, product) to manage stakeholder alignment and gather necessary documentation and information
• Develop, track, and manage project plans for remediation efforts and corrective actions following audits or exams
• Ensure all corrective action projects meet deadlines and regulatory standards
• Align with department leads to ensure remediation work is prioritized in company goals and priorities
• Maintain alignment among internal stakeholders through effective communication to ensure alignment and accuracy in responses to examiners
