Requirements

  • Location: Remote, residing in the United States, and able to work EST hours
  • PM experience with an ESRI ArcGISยฎ system
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of project management and related experience and 10 years of work experience
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Possesses the ability to communicate with the affected user community, requirements analysts, and others to develop the most appropriate approach
  • Skilled in providing detailed written and/or oral recommendations
  • Familiar with all phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and overseeing projects through the lifecycle
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources throughout the project
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct post implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of the application
  • Provide status to customers
  • Understand and adhere to contract terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Familiar with Section 508 compliance regulations
  • Experience working with users to elicit requirements that will meet their business needs
  • Skilled in the development of high level and detailed functional requirements documentation
  • Previous Government contracting experience
