Property Manager

Summary

Join our team as a highly motivated and experienced home manager to oversee the daily operations of our short-term vacation rental portfolio. You will maintain and enhance property value while ensuring a positive guest experience. The role requires managing guest relations, property maintenance, financial aspects, legal compliance, and risk management. This full-time contractor position offers an annual salary of $20,000. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of property management experience and relevant certifications. Current primary residence in South America, Central America, or South Africa is required.

Requirements

• Have a current primary residence in South America, Central America, or South Africa
• Work a 5-day work week, including weekends
• Have at least 8 years of previous experience in property management
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Be proficient in property management software
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills; have the ability to address and resolve issues promptly and effectively
• Possess quick decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests related to the home
• Coordinate with the concierge team on resolutions
• Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs
• Schedule preventative maintenance across houses
• Schedule routine inspections and address any issues promptly
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Prepare and manage property budgets
• Handle financial reporting and maintain accurate records
• Stay updated on laws and regulations
• Ensure the property complies with all relevant codes and regulations
• Assess and mitigate risks related to property operations
• Implement safety and security measures

Preferred Qualifications

• Have relevant certifications in property management (e.g., Certified Property Manager, Real Property Administrator)
• Have experience managing homes in the US
