Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of related federal proposal experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro for PDF creation, comparison, and merging
  • Working knowledge of desktop publishing principles and practices
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to meet proposal deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day supervision of the proposal process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate efficient proposal development
  • Establish and maintain a robust RFI lifecycle management system
  • Analyze RFP and RFI requirements to ensure compliance with submission guidelines
  • Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring realistic deadlines for all team members
  • Prepare and execute Proposal Production Plans to guarantee compliance with delivery requirements
  • Manage document configuration control using SharePoint or other designated systems
  • Coordinate support services, including desktop publishing, editing, and graphics production
  • Perform desktop publishing tasks and quality assurance inspections of all proposal deliverables
  • Facilitate both hardcopy and electronic proposal submissions
  • Anticipate and communicate team needs related to IT, reproduction, facilities, and supplies
  • Support the Senior Proposal Manager in implementing process improvements and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert-level desktop publishing skills, including creation of visually appealing, RFP-compliant templates
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator
  • Experience with RFI management systems or processes
  • Familiarity with federal contracting processes and terminology
