Business Development Analyst

Summary

Join phia as a Business Development Analyst and contribute directly to company growth in the competitive government contracting arena. This remote position requires 2+ years of experience in administrative support, sales, marketing, or similar roles, proficiency in MS Office suite, SharePoint, CRM Software, and U.S. Citizenship. Bonus points are given for excellent communication skills, proactive nature, ability to manage competing priorities, assertive personality, emotional intelligence, and familiarity with MS Office, SharePoint, and Teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in administrative support, sales, marketing, or similar role (internship experience acceptable)
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, SharePoint, CRM Software (or ability to quickly learn)
• Willingness to attend occasional in-person events, meetings or worksessions in the DMV area
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Support various administrative aspects of business development and proposals
• Assist with proposal activities including scheduling, coordination, knowledge capture and documentation
• Track solicitations and identify business opportunities
• Help manage customer relationships
• Monitor government intelligence platforms, manage and update CRM/Sales Pipeline systems
• Contribute to department knowledge base maintenance
• Complete data calls, requests for information, and market surveys
• Attend pre-bid meetings, project reviews and industry events as needed
• Provide business development support
