Summary
Join Allucent as a Proposal Manager and prepare, coordinate, and facilitate responses for sponsor Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Collaborate with operational departments and Business Development to develop win strategies and articulate key selling points. Research, develop, and synthesize corporate and opportunity information for RFP responses, writing compelling sales-oriented text. Manage RFI/RPI activities from initial receipt to final submission, ensuring on-time delivery. Coordinate team contributions to create high-quality responses and support other Business Development activities as needed. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and writing skills, along with experience in a related field.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent in a writing/journalism, business or health-related degree, or the ability to prove comparable equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field of study
- 2 - 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of GxP
- GDPR/HIPAA and applicable (local) regulatory requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to translate guidelines, rules and regulations in clear and usable recommendations
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
- Representative, outgoing and client focused
- Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment of a growing company
- Administrative excellence
- Proficiency with various computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Responsibilities
- Manages overall RFI/RPI activities - from initial receipt to final submission to the client to ensure an on-time submission
- Participates in team alignment calls and strategy discussions to clarify scope of work, gains insights into the business opportunity, understands key messages, and develop win themes
- Coordinates the contributions of team members to create high quality responses via management of project workflow through the RFP/RFI process
- Formats, proofreads and edits the budget for accuracy, clarity, and readability
- Supports other Business Development activities as needed
- Performs bid grid mapping with oversight
- Works with Part I/II functionality in the costing tool with minimal oversight
- Works on complex RFPs
- Having knowledge of the operational processes underlying each task code/service
- Constructively challenging operations on budgets ensuring competitive pricing
