Proposal Pricing Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
• 3-5 years of pricing experience in federal proposals
• A proven history working in a financial and/or accounting position
• Expert at using Microsoft Excel and Excel advanced features (Functions, Vlookups, Nested Formulas, etc)
• Knowledge and understanding of Indirect rates
• Experience with government contracting, including pricing, financial analysis, and contracts with federal agencies
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle pricing for multiple proposals simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment handling multiple proposals simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated experience in briefing Management

Responsibilities

• Read RFPs, prepare clarifying questions related to pricing, and prepare estimates related to the proposed solutions
• Develop pricing for proposal submissions by working closely with the capture manager, solutions architect, and proposal manager
• Utilize quantitative and mathematical skills to provide effective financial modeling
• Develop and communicate potential pricing scenarios for consideration directly impacting company win rate
• Maintain competitive data to produce Price to Win (PTW) estimates and/or to develop price volumes
• Prepare Schedule B tables and/or required customer templates for submission
• Maintain complete files to include required supporting documentation
• Manage the distribution of pricing data calls to subcontractors and respond to pricing data calls by prime contractors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government agency pricing volumes is a huge plus
• Experience in creating price-to-win strategies and competitor analysis is a plus
• Solid analytical skills with experience working with complex data sets
