Summary

Join Concentric, a global risk consultancy, as a Protective Intelligence Analyst! Conduct comprehensive threat investigations, intelligence research, and due diligence using open-source and proprietary information. Produce timely intelligence reports and executive briefings. The position offers remote work arrangements within the US, with potential for on-site work in Omaha, Nebraska, or Chicago, Illinois. California hours and on-call availability are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, National Security, Behavioral Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in protective intelligence, threat investigations, or corporate/government intelligence analysis
  • Proficiency with intelligence tools such as Ontic, Dataminr, LifeRaft, Lexis Nexis, WAVR-21, or comparable platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in due diligence, behavioral threat analysis, and complex intelligence research

Responsibilities

  • Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection, including surface and deep web research, and advanced social media investigations
  • Produce timely, concise, and actionable intelligence reports, threat assessments, and executive briefings
  • Perform in-depth due diligence and background investigations supporting protective operations and enterprise risk management
  • Monitor and triage incoming threat intelligence data using tools such as Ontic, Dataminr, LifeRaft, LexisNexis, and WAVR-21 or similar
  • Analyze and visualize high-quality data to identify trends, patterns, and potential threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in legal, HR, and executive protection teams to assess risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Maintain a high standard of analytical writing and editorial accuracy in all intelligence products
  • Serve in an on-call rotation during California evening hours and weekends to provide rapid investigative support
  • Maintain full confidentiality and practice the highest standards of discretion with sensitive information
  • Track emerging threat trends and contextual developments relevant to the company’s global risk posture
  • Uphold a strong customer-service orientation when communicating intelligence findings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in government/public sector intelligence, corporate threat management, or corporate executive protection intelligence analysis environments
  • Familiarity with insider threat programs and risk mitigation frameworks
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate the broader business implications of identified risks
