Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Summary

Join Eleanor Health as an Advanced Practice Nurse and be an integral member of our treatment team, providing direct patient care for MAT, substance use, and other psychiatric disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of medical services. This role requires experience prescribing MAT, an active DEA, and a current North Carolina APN license. Requirements

• Be in residence in NC, and willing to commute to the Hickory clinic up to 2 days per week, when required
• Have a current active, unencumbered North Carolina Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license
• Have an MSN degree or higher
• Have current National Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Have experience prescribing MAT in the past
• Have an active DEA to prescribe controlled substances

• Be able to work across teams and functions, be a self-starter who quickly identifies what needs to be done and takes ownership

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for MAT, substance use and other psychiatric disorders both in-person and via telemedicine
• Work closely with Eleanor Health Practice Administrator, Lead Clinician, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of medical services with whole-person support services
• Contribute to a unique and attractive culture that values mission-orientation, proactive initiative, ethical behavior, and collaboration
• Ensure medical care and documentation are in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations and CARF accreditation standards
• Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
