Summary
Join Level Access, a leading SaaS accessibility company, as a QA Analyst and contribute to a SCRUM team. You will be responsible for writing and implementing test cases, retesting bug fixes, performing regression testing, and documenting test cases with clearly defined pre-/post conditions. Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Automators to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Conduct detailed manual testing of web applications, focusing on functionality, cross-platform compatibility, accessibility, and adaptable UI. Log and supervise defects, identify and communicate potential QA risks, and investigate issues to support problem resolution. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, including extensive testing of web applications
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Demonstrated comprehension of the Agile/Scrum Software Creation Process (SCP)
- Proficiency with test-design techniques to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Familiarity with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and client-server architecture
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Swagger or Postman
- Fundamental knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
- Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Proven grasp of testing fundamentals
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Clear and effective communicator, able to convey complex information succinctly
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Automators to ensure seamless integration and delivery
- Build and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including checklists and test cases
- Accurately estimate testing effort and timelines to facilitate project planning
- Conduct detailed manual testing of web applications, focusing on functionality, cross-platform compatibility, accessibility, and adaptable UI
- Log and supervise defects in Jira, maintaining detailed documentation in Confluence
- Identify and communicate potential QA risks that could impact feature delivery timelines
- Investigate issues, support problem resolution, and ensure successful implementation of fixes
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end (E2E) frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or WDIO
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with accessibility assistive technologies
- Accessibility certification
