Summary

Join Liftoff's Business Systems team as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst and contribute to delivering high-quality software. You will execute manual and automated tests, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and design comprehensive test plans. Responsibilities include performing various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance), developing automated test frameworks, and providing input on quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-5+ years of QA experience, strong knowledge of QA methodologies, and experience with Salesforce and NetSuite applications. The position offers full-time remote work options in several states and Canada, with quarterly travel to the Redwood City hub. Liftoff provides a full compensation package including equity, health/vision/dental benefits, and a 10% quarterly bonus, with base salary varying by location and experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of QA experience in software or systems testing
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience testing Salesforce and NetSuite applications, APIs, and other GTM and Finance applications
  • Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated test cases across our GTM and Finance tech stacks, including Salesforce and other enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with Business Technology and Engineering teams to understand requirements, use cases, and define success criteria
  • Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by partnering with business stakeholders to validate functionality in staging or production environments
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across various systems including APIs
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to reduce manual effort and improve release velocity
  • Provide input on testability, risk assessment, and quality standards during the development lifecycle
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and QA-specific rituals
  • Advocate for QA best practices, test automation, and tooling improvements within the Business Technology organization
  • Recommend and drive improvements to QA processes, coverage, and tools to increase efficiency and test effectiveness
