Join HomeBuddy, a rapidly growing home improvement platform, as a Quality Assurance Manager. You will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic plans to enhance quality assurance and control, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading and managing a team of QA professionals, driving test automation, ensuring smooth continuous integration and DevOps practices, establishing and monitoring key quality metrics, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Requirements
- A strong sense of ownership, high self-motivation, and a focus on achieving results while working collaboratively with others
- At least 3 years of experience in QA management
- Proficiency in English at C1 level to ensure smooth communication across international teams
- Strong leadership skills with a robust background in QA
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and practices
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- A proactive mindset, sharp attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing strategic plans, events & actions to enhance quality assurance and control
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance practices into all aspects of our operations and product
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of various QA professionals
- Driving the test automation and speeding up the delivery while maintaining high quality
- Ensuring smooth continuous integration and DevOps practices in synchronisation with other functions
- Establishing and monitoring key quality metrics, reporting on performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, driving a Growth Mindset in both personal and functional work
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA by implementing successful solutions
- Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between the QA team, other departments, and the entire business
- Identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
- Driving innovation in QA processes and tools to maintain excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Hiring, mentoring, and managing performance across QA
- Providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Russian
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in test automation and testing frameworks
- Experience with Agile software development
- Understanding of DevOps processes
