QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, a leading ICT employer in Hungary, as a QA Automation Engineer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced automation engineers and manual QA engineers with basic programming skills looking to transition into test automation. You will maintain and create automated UI and API tests, improve the test framework and pipeline, perform manual testing, and monitor product quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The position requires knowledge of software testing, experience with backend and UI testing, basic Java knowledge, and experience with UI testing frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD tools is a plus. Remote work is available within Hungary.

Requirements

• Knowledge of software testing theory, including methodologies and test design techniques
• Experience in backend and UI testing. Experience with API testing tools
• Basic knowledge of Java
• Experience with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• English language B1+

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing autotests (UI and API) and write new ones
• Contribute to the improvement of the test framework and testing pipeline
• Perform manual testing of UI and API
• Monitor quality of released product throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and experience in integration automated tests into pipelines
