This role requires extensive experience in automation testing, specifically with Python, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Requirements

  • Demonstrate expertise with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in at least one of the specified technologies: Python (primary), Javascript/Typescript, Playwright
  • Advanced CI/CD (Github actions)
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
  • Beginner to intermediate level with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with data projects. Especially assuring the quality of data via automation
  • Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch
  • Be flexible in changing to or learning new tech stack when needed
  • Beginner to intermediate-level AWS Cloud services

Responsibilities

  • Build automation frameworks that are efficient, performant, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality
  • Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools
  • Gather requirements, validate their understanding amongst the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation
  • Execute activities within the current methodology and uphold the highest quality standards
  • Foster collaboration with fellow engineers, designers, and managers to comprehend user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success
  • Take ownership of projects, from technical design to a successful launch

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of source control tools
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Data projects experience
  • Python and Pytest programming experience
