QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a Full-time Automation Software Engineer and work from home! You will be primarily responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining automation software for build and testing. This role requires advanced knowledge of Jenkins and Python, intermediate AWS experience, and in-depth Linux, MacOS, and Windows knowledge. You will also identify improvements, design and implement software, support continuous improvement to the SDLC, identify new tools, provide training and consulting, and document automation frameworks. Experience with performance testing and large-scale distributed systems is a plus.

• Advanced knowledge and experience with Jenkins
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Python
• Intermediate AWS experience
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, MacOS, and Windows
• Intermediate test automation experience

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and maintain automation software
• Support build and testing software owned by the team
• Identify improvements, design and implement software
• Support continuous improvement to the SDLC
• Identify new tools to address weaknesses in our automation toolkit
• Provide training and consulting on automation
• Document the automation frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Performance, scalability, and resiliency testing experience
• Experience with node.js server
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with typescript and/or javascript
