Summary

Join SQLI Group, a leading digital agency, as an Automation Testing Engineer. You will play a key role in building and maintaining the testing automation framework for a large global eCommerce project using Playwright and Typescript. This position involves automating regression tests, integrating with tools like Jira and XRay, and collaborating with various teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3+ years of experience in automation testing, and experience with Playwright and Typescript. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Software Engineer
  • +3 years of professional experience in testing automation for Front-End and Back-end
  • Previous experience working with Playwright and Typescript is a must
  • Ease to work with remote and multicultural teams
  • Experience across multiple systems including e-commerce solutions ideally on a multi-market and/or multi-channel platform

Responsibilities

  • Automate and maintain regression tests
  • Build features to increase the integration of the framework with other testing management tools such as Jira, and XRay
  • Build pipelines into the CI/CD cycles for the regular execution
  • Analyse the needs of the project context (markets customizations, test data needs, environments, etc) to consider with the goal of adapting the framework accordingly
  • After the selection of the technology (Playwright), support the implementation and integration of the framework considering the involvement with other teams: development, devsecops
  • Integrate the framework with other systems in the organization: reporting, CI/CD, etc
  • Divulgate the benefits of the automation and the roi
  • Assess the current ways of working, the testing organization involved in testing automation (Front-End and Back-end) and the goals of the automation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience on testing automation for eCommerce solutions is highly valued
  • Used to work in a multicultural corporate environment
  • Used to give improvements and move forward with continuous improvement plan
  • Used to coach others
  • Holding a ISTQB certification is highly valued but not mandatory
