QA Automation Engineer

This role requires 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on automation in an agile environment. Requirements

• Your communication skills in English are excellent
• You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, in which you focused for a significant amount of time on testing automation in an agile / SCRUM environment
• You already gained experience with some of the following technologies: TestNG, Junit, Spock, Selenium, and some of the JVM-based technologies, as well as tools like Jira, Postman, Jenkins / Gitlab, Jmeter
• In the past, you already planned, executed and improved testing strategies in a fast-growing environment
• You like to share your knowledge with your peers, ideally, that will make your life much easier by turning them into some kind of testers themselves

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the quality management of our SaaS solution in close collaboration with software engineering and product management, maintaining an automation framework that will monitor and regress the website applications
• You take on the creation, implementation, performance evaluation and optimization of automated test cases and act in a very structured manner
• Due to your expertise in the area of quality assurance, you can determine very well which tools (Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Spock, etc.) or methods can be used and effectively used and are at your colleagues' side as a QA expert at any time, maintaining a high level of test coverage across the different websites
• You are going to determine and improve strategy and acceptance criteria for our features together with internal stakeholders - making them see things from a tester's perspective, contributing to and hitting the team's velocity every sprint
• You attach great importance to smooth QA processes and contribute to their continuous optimization
