QA Engineer

Summary

Join Capco Poland, a leading global technology and management consultancy, as a QA Engineer and contribute to the testing of Frontend (Angular, Ionic, React) and Backend (API Integrations, Azure/AWS Web Services) solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases, performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, and ensuring compliance with best practices in security, performance, and scalability testing. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract with a start date in April, offering remote work, a flat, non-hierarchical structure, and opportunities to work with senior partners and directly with clients. Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA testing for web and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JMeter, Postman (or similar tools)
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications (Azure/AWS)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating tests into Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for web and mobile applications
• Test RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring robust backend integrations
• Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to improve software quality
• Ensure compliance with best practices in security, performance, and scalability testing
