Requirements

  • 4-7 years of QA experience in web or enterprise applications
  • Basic understanding of test automation processes and readiness to grow into hybrid QA roles
  • Strong understanding of test design techniques, test management, and defect life cycle
  • Experience testing Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms), Vue.js SPAs, or dynamic web applications
  • Exposure to API testing (Postman, REST clients) and ability to validate back-end services
  • Familiarity with basic SQL or data validation methods to verify data integrity
  • User-focused QA mindsetβ€”, integrating user scenarios and goals into test strategies and acceptance criteria

Responsibilities

  • Review user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test plans
  • Focus on User Journeys and create detailed, well-structured test cases that cover positive, negative, and edge cases
  • Conduct manual functional, regression, and exploratory tests on Salesforce, Vue.js applications, and AWS-based services
  • Document defects clearly with detailed reproduction steps, logs, and relevant artifacts
  • Collaborate closely with developers and the SDET team to ensure quick resolution of issues
  • Track and analyze defect trends to identify recurring patterns and propose process improvements
  • Work alongside the QA Architect, SDETs, and Product Managers to prioritize testing efforts in fast-paced release cycles
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide clear updates on quality status
  • Create test reports and dashboards that offer visibility into coverage, defects, and QA progress
  • Learn automation tools / technologies and with time contribute towards automation
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for automation of repetitive tests
  • Stay open to learning and adopting AI-driven testing approaches (e.g., AI-based exploratory testing or test data generation)
  • Provide insights to the QA Architect on potential enhancements in testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or AI-powered testing (even if not hands-on)
  • Experience with agile methodologies and working in a startup or rapid-growth environment
  • Knowledge of performance testing fundamentals
