QA Engineer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing to work remotely within LATAM. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar, proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on both manual and automated testing
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for test automation
• Experience with version control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced English

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans and strategies
• Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects and identify areas for improvement
• Document test results, defects, and any deviations from expected behavior
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools/frameworks
• Implement and maintain test automation infrastructure and frameworks
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues
• Report defects accurately and efficiently using designated defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects in a timely manner
• Verify defect fixes and ensure proper closure of defects
