Requirements
- Experience working in an agile team environment
- Strong testing experience with ability to apply different testing methodologies
- Experience with reporting tools
- Experience testing web based and mobile applications
- Experience of planning of testing impacts and knowing different levels of testing
- Good applications/technology knowledge, has practical experience of and proficient with testing tools and frameworks
- Ability to create strategic test plans to provide efficient test coverage to projects
- Understanding of website tracking and analytics
- Understanding of functional and non-functional testing and ability to highlight performance testing requirements
- Experience creating test cases and following best practice in software design quality and development
- API testing experience and exposure to API tools (Postman, Swagger)
- Experience working with database systems
- Good knowledge of database architecture & understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling
- Must be able to work in EST or CST
Responsibilities
- Establish QA processes for a team that is in the early stages of Agile development maturity. Evolve the QA flow as the development cycle evolves
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Manual testing in web-based UI or applications
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements
- Monitor end-to-end QA process
- Report results of QA function regularly
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software
- Track quality assurance metrics
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- API testing and analysis of data endpoints
- Creating automation test cases and running automation suites
- Monitoring tracking and analytical data on websites
