QA Engineer

Requirements

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance, preferably in an SAP environment including relevant QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Have experience in writing and executing manual testing plans
• Have proficiency in test management tools and in defect management tools (Jira or similar) and API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman)
• Be a highly motivated learner with an affection for digital innovations and technology trends with excellent analysis, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute quality testing activities
• Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Develop, implement, automate, and manage processes to ensure that products meet the required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery
• Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems; track trends and metrics and identify important areas of improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with banking (e.g., transactional banking, payments/cards, or regulatory reporting)
• Knowledgeable in relevant technologies such as OData/REST, CDS/HANA, Restful Application Programming, HANA DB, SAP Fiori UI
• Academic degree (BSc/MSc) in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration)
