QA Engineer

Summary

The job is for a QA Engineer at Trustly Americas, a global company specializing in Open Banking Payments. The role involves creating and elaborating test plans, developing automated test cases, researching and suggesting new testing tools, and working closely with the development team to improve the product.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience with automation, knowledge in API testing, performance testing, and database
• Relevant work experience in the QA area not just in testing phase
• Experience in large software systems in Java, JavaScript or .Net
• Adept at Agile development process (daily stand ups, test driven development, etc)
• Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, Selenium or other test frameworks
• Experience in OO development paradigm
• Experience in SQL
• Knowledge of Gitflow processes
• Ability to communicate in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, like Jenkins, Bamboo or anything related to that
• Familiarity with JMeter and other tools to perform stress, performance and load tests
