QA Engineer

Summary

The job is for a permanent, remote QA Engineer position at ZigZag Global, a company specializing in eCommerce returns. The employee will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications, conducting back-end QA, collaborating with other QA engineers, executing test cases, evaluating product code, creating logs, reporting bugs, helping troubleshoot issues, and conducting post-release testing. Requirements include at least 1 year of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, strong organizational skills, ability to develop checklists, excellent spoken and written English, and working knowledge of test management software, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, REST APIs, Postman, and an OOP language. Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Back-End QA
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
