QA Engineer

Summary

Join our growing team as a Software QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing using Selenium and Python. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining test cases, performing various software system tests (sanity, functional, regression, integration), API testing using POSTMAN, documenting test results, logging defects using tools like JIRA, creating and maintaining test flows in automation using Selenium and Pytest, working with CI/CD pipelines, and recommending software improvements. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in computer science and strong understanding of RESTful APIs and databases. Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile environments is also required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication are essential. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• 3+ years of professional experience with Manual and Automation Testing
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Writing and maintaining the Test Cases and Performing software system test testing. E.g. sanity, functional, regression, integration etc
• Performing API Testing using POSTMAN
• Document the results of test performed and the test flows
• Log and track defects using project defined defect tracking tools E.g. JIRA
• Creating and maintaining Test flows in Automation using Selenium and Pytest
• Working with and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Selenium and Pytest would be a great advantage
