Summary

Join ShiftKey's growing team as a QA Manager and lead our QA team in Warsaw, Poland. You will oversee the QA strategy for our Marketplace app, manage skilled QA Engineers, and focus on employee development. You'll optimize test and release processes for web and native mobile applications, driving continuous quality improvement. Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in QA, including 2-3 years in team or test management and 3-4 years as a QA individual contributor
  • Experience in introducing new tools or processes in the QA field
  • Experience in testing web or native mobile applications across all levels (frontend, backend, API, database)
  • A theoretical understanding of how to introduce automation at various test levels
  • Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies
  • A constructive and open-minded communication style, with the ability to adjust communication to different audiences
  • Comfort with giving and receiving feedback for mentorship and self-improvement
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate teams to work in a continuous improvement mindset
  • Willingness to set up or improve efficient testing and release processes
  • Understanding KPIs and the ability to track and monitor the quality of IT solutions

Responsibilities

  • Manage the assignment of QA professionals to Engineering squads to ensure continuous testing and on-time, effective product delivery that meets business priorities
  • Support the QA Director and other QA leaders in defining the QA strategy and actively help QA Engineers and Software Engineers implement it
  • Provide squads with expertise in testing and quality assurance, offering guidance on testing-related topics
  • Contribute to the delivery of risk-driven, cost-efficient quality management solutions based on data and quality metrics analysis
