QA Lead in Bangladesh

Summary

The job is for a Senior Automation Engineer at Editorialist, a digital platform that offers personal styling, editorial content, and shopping services. The role involves setting up QA automation and performance testing infrastructure, working closely with both Dev and Manual QA teams, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• 6 - 9 years experience in QA automation (UI and Backend API)
• Experience in API automation using Rest Assured/Apache HTTP Client or similar tool is mandatory
• Experience in UI automation using Selenium, Java, TestNG

Responsibilities

• Setup QA automation and performance testing infrastructure for complex end to end and integration tests for iOS applications
• Prioritize and execute tests as part of the CICD pipeline
• Meet with the software design and QA team to discuss & understand verification protocols
• Troubleshoot automation software issues
• Prepare detailed test reports
• Conduct Performance Testing of UI and Microservices
• Mentor junior members of the team and review their work

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in automating complex workflows is essential
• Strong programming, debugging/troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills (Preferred Selenium, Java , TestNG, or equivalent)
• Should have experience in designing workloads as per required specifications for Performance Testing
• Scripting experience using BeanShell and Jmeter for performance testing
• Experience with RDBMS like MYSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL is preferred
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Kafka, Apache Storm is preferred
• Experience working in the E-commerce frontend and backend domain will be a plus
• Understanding of Web Services - JSON/XML data formats
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
