You will drive quality initiatives across teams, lead the QA Chapter, and be embedded in software development teams. You will collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to proactively identify and address quality concerns. Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in software testing, including leading QA teams or chapters
  • Strong hands-on experience with Shift-Left Testing, embedding QA early in the SDLC
  • Expertise in test automation using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Functionize, and Playwright
  • Experience managing QA efforts in Agile development environments
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, K6)
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
  • Ability to drive AI-driven testing and introduce self-healing test automation
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA Chapter, ensuring best practices are shared and adopted across teams
  • Act as the main QA partner for Engineering Managers, aligning QA initiatives with business objectives
  • Define and refine QA processes to enhance efficiency, reduce defect leakage, and optimize test coverage
  • Advocate for Shift-Left Testing, embedding QA at the earliest stages of feature development
  • Drive the adoption of AI-driven testing, ensuring self-healing tests and automation strategies are in place
  • Design and implement end-to-end test strategies, including manual, automated, performance, and security testing
  • Ensure teams follow best practices in automation by leveraging tools like Selenium, Functionize, Cypress, and JMeter
  • Collaborate with developers on CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth integration of tests
  • Monitor and optimize automation coverage, balancing between manual and automated testing
  • Improve API testing strategies using tools like Postman and JMeter
  • Facilitate cross-team testing efforts, ensuring smooth collaboration between software development teams
  • Lead retrospective meetings within the QA Chapter, refining strategies based on real-world testing challenges
  • Define key QA metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, cycle time) and ensure visibility in dashboards like Looker
  • Conduct regular QA syncs with Engineering Managers, driving continuous quality improvements
  • Provide mentorship to QA Engineers, fostering a learning and growth-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in API testing with Postman and similar tools
  • Familiarity with observability tools for tracking defect patterns
  • Background in security testing and compliance
  • Knowledge of modern software development and DevOps practices
