Summary

Join Bitwarden's QA team as QA Manager to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, define and implement quality assurance strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will oversee manual and automated testing, establish quality metrics, and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent priorities
  • Proven ability to context switch effectively between feature teams and adapt quickly to changing project needs
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset
  • Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills
  • Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security
  • Excellent problem-solving skills – you might not know all the answers, but you know how to find and communicate the solution

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, including manual testers and automation specialists
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, best practices, and testing frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans
  • Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts across multiple projects and platforms
  • Establish and track quality metrics and KPIs; report regularly on the QA health of projects
  • Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Manage defect tracking and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Partner with DevOps to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines
