Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with 1+ years of people management experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or others), scripting languages (Typescript, Python, etc.), and cloud testing tools
  • Experience in testing cybersecurity solutions such as endpoint detection, threat detection, or SOC solutions
  • Proven experience in developing and executing automated tests for complex systems, ideally in the cybersecurity space
  • Proven track record of leading QA teams, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of integrating testing into continuous integration pipelines, with tools like Github Actions, ArgosCD, or Jenkins
  • Ability to quickly diagnose issues, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fixes
  • Experience in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git
  • Experience in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD)
  • A passion for quality and a β€˜Get Stuff Done’ attitude, balanced with a sense of responsibility to customers and the team
  • B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of solution testers, setting direction, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality standards are met across all cybersecurity product offerings
  • Deeply involved in designing and implementing automated test frameworks, ensuring scalable and repeatable tests for complex cybersecurity products
  • Establish and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including automated testing approaches to ensure the robustness of endpoint and cloud-based security solutions
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to integrate testing early in the software development lifecycle
  • Lead efforts in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable release cycles
  • Track and report defects, work with engineering teams for resolution, and validate fixes to ensure product stability and quality
  • Continuously improve testing processes, introduce new tools, and ensure best practices are implemented across the team
  • Provide clear, data-driven reports on product quality, risks, and testing progress to stakeholders, including upper management
