Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on testing Salesforce applications or platforms
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Platform, etc.)
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, ApexTest, etc.) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Apex, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins), and agile development methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence quality outcomes

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans
• Develop test strategies and approaches to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of Salesforce applications
• Test Execution: Execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to verify software functionality, usability, and performance
• Conduct both manual and automated testing, leveraging industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality
• Defect Management: Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, such as JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and closure
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and isolate issues, providing detailed bug reports and reproduction steps
• Quality Assurance Processes : Implement and maintain best practices for quality assurance, including test automation, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Contribute to the refinement and improvement of QA processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the team
• Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and customer support teams, to ensure alignment on quality goals and priorities
• Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide input on QA-related activities and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer, etc.)
• Experience with Salesforce AppExchange development and packaging
• Knowledge of Salesforce-specific testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Salesforce DX, Selenium WebDriver for Salesforce, etc.)
• Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JMeter, BlazeMeter, etc.)
