Join Future Tech as our Quality Control Manager and oversee internal audits, ensure compliance with industry standards, and lead a team focused on continuous improvement. This remote, full-time position requires a strategic problem-solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail to drive cross-functional initiatives. You will maintain high quality and compliance standards while fostering a culture of excellence. The role involves managing direct reports and performing internal QC audits against ISO9001 and AS9100 standards. This position offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance; 401k with company match and PTO. The work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30a – 5:30p Eastern time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–7 years of experience in quality control, compliance, or process improvement
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role with direct reports
  • AS9100 Internal Auditor Certification, with demonstrated experience working with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 standards
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis tools and methodologies
  • Proven ability to write, implement, and manage corrective actions to resolution
  • Experience analyzing data and processes to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements
  • Experience leading or participating in customer audits
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and present to executive leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and Word
  • Willingness and ability to travel to company locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Direct Reports
  • Perform internal QC audits against ISO9001 and AS9100 standards to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Evaluate ISO and AS standards and maintain compliance
  • Evaluate Foreign Object Detection and Prevention, Counterfeit Detection and Prevention, and Electro-Static Discharge standards and maintain compliance
  • Identify, review, document, analyze, and resolve QC challenges through root cause analysis tools and methodologies
  • Approve corrective action plans
  • Assist with creating, implementing, documenting, and improving internal processes and procedures
  • Oversee process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze reports/data for trends, areas of improvement, and challenges
  • Develop and maintain process maps and supporting documentation
  • Participate in customer audits and evaluations to ensure external compliance and address client concerns
  • Review and approve internal training programs for compliance
  • Approve departmental documentation for compliance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing process maps; familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement approaches is a plus
