Summary

You will collaborate with engineers, developing and scaling a major application, writing code, developing tests, debugging, and contributing to high-level architecture decisions. This role requires significant experience with Rails, Javascript, React, and AWS, along with a minimum of 3 years in an Agile environment. You must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining low-level security clearance and possess a Bachelor's Degree. Requirements

  • 4+ years experience with Rails, Javascript, React, Web Services (REST, JSON), AWS, Jira, Confluence, GoLang and GitHub
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud technologies
  • Minimum of 3 years working in an Agile software development environment
  • Programming in a major open source language, such as Ruby, Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
  • Possess a consultant mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, product managers, non-technical stakeholders, and customers
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Work hand in hand with other engineers developing and scaling a major application
  • Write code
  • Develop tests
  • Debug
  • Give input on high-level architecture decisions
  • Communicate those decisions to other developers on the team
  • Build APIs that support both the digital services we deliver as well as third-party usage
