Summary
Join Slice, a company empowering local pizzerias, as their R&D HR Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role supports a world-class R&D team, ensuring a positive employee experience and providing hands-on HR support in the UK. You will partner with global R&D teams, handling day-to-day HR needs, including onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate possesses strong consultative skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a tech or fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Broad HR expertise across key areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, onboarding, diversity and inclusion, culture and engagement, and UK employment law (including NI regulations)
- Proven ability to coach, advise, and support managers and employees on HR matters, helping to navigate challenges with confidence
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations quickly and implement practical, people-focused solutions
- Hands-on and results-oriented, with excellent planning and execution skills to deliver meaningful HR support
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across all levels of the organisation
- Skilled at building trust and strong relationships in a short timeframe, creating a positive and approachable HR presence
- Committed to confidentiality and discretion, ensuring a trusted and safe HR function
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on HR support to employees and managers, ensuring a positive and engaging workplace experience
- Partner closely with R&D teams, assisting with day-to-day HR needs, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and total rewards
- Support managers in handling people-related challenges, offering guidance on policies, best practices, and employee well-being
- Foster a supportive work environment, ensuring compliance, and helping employees navigate their development and career growth
