Summary

The job is for a lab technician/chemist in the Structural Materials Group of ZeroAvia, working on the development of materials for hydrogen fuel cells. The role involves laboratory experiments, analysis, and implementation of best practices. The position is open to students and fresh graduates.

Requirements

• Working towards a Chemistry or Materials Science degree
• Experience in a chemical laboratory

Responsibilities

• Run the laboratory experiments – formulate materials, prepare samples, set up and conduct testing, document the results, prepare reports, and communicate to the group or leading engineer
• Analyze the results of the testing and propose further steps in laboratory activities to enhance the quality of the results or expand the data for better decisions on the technical program’s evolution
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Search, study, and implement best practices to increase confidence in the results and reduce the cost and time of the standard laboratory activities
• Search and analyze the information relevant to the development programs
• Organize and keep the laboratory space clean and safe for operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Good organizational skills in managing their own workload
• Competent level of IT Literacy (particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Methodical in their approach to tasks, with good attention to detail
