Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless and efficient communication, delivering an exceptional level of service and care to everyone involved
  • Take full ownership of managing tickets for a portfolio of apartments, handling everything from tenant check-ins and check-outs to coordinating apartment cleaning and maintenance
  • Conduct apartment viewings across Berlin, oversee key handovers, and collaborate with external service providers such as cleaning companies and handymen, ensuring that our high standards are consistently met
  • Manage the entire operational process of renting out furnished apartments, utilizing modern technology to streamline and enhance efficiency
  • Bring new ideas to the table as you actively engage in process improvements to elevate our service even further

We are excited to welcome a Real Estate Operations Intern (f/m/d) to our team, where you will play a key role in shaping the future of one of the most innovative property management start-ups in the market. You’ll be joining our dynamic and friendly Wunderflats Plus department, which offers landlords a comprehensive service—taking care of everything from finding the ideal tenants to handling all things maintenance and operations.

We’re looking for an intern who’s excited to gain hands-on experience managing the operations of a portfolio of apartments across Berlin while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a long-term position within Wunderflats, with the potential to specialize in tenant or landlord support as you progress in your career.

Your day-to-day in this role:

  • As the primary point of contact between tenants, landlords, and external service providers, you will ensure seamless and efficient communication, delivering an exceptional level of service and care to everyone involved.
  • You’ll take full ownership of managing tickets for a portfolio of apartments, handling everything from tenant check-ins and check-outs to coordinating apartment cleaning and maintenance.
  • Additionally, you’ll conduct apartment viewings across Berlin, oversee key handovers, and collaborate with external service providers such as cleaning companies and handymen, ensuring that our high standards are consistently met.
  • You will also manage the entire operational process of renting out furnished apartments, utilizing modern technology to streamline and enhance efficiency.
  • You will bring new ideas to the table as you actively engage in process improvements to elevate our service even further.

You’ll be successful if you:

  • Ideally, you will have some experience in real estate or a strong interest in gaining hands- on experience in this field.
  • You are organized and reliable and can be trusted to manage deadlines and appointments efficiently.
  • You have excellent communications skills, enabling you to confidently interact with new people, whether in person or over the phone.
  • Your adaptability allows you to thrive in changing situations, and you approach challenges with a hands-on, solution-driven mindset.
  • You take pride in being thorough, ensuring every detail is addressed and no task is left incomplete.
