You will write articles, cover breaking news and in-depth stories on commercial real estate, and attend Bisnow events. The role demands strong writing skills, excellent news judgment, and 2+ years of experience in real estate journalism. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of experience in real estate journalism
• Possess great writing skills
• Demonstrate excellent news judgment
• Have digital experience
• Be a self-starter, thoughtful, and articulate writer interested in building his/her voice and journalistic brand on Bisnow.com
• Be committed to seeking diverse stories and sourcing

Responsibilities

• Write roughly three articles a week of varying lengths and types
• Produce San Francisco Bay Area morning briefs three days a week
• Cover breaking news and deeper enterprise reporting on the commercial real estate industry
• Provide some local coverage of the San Francisco Bay Area
• Write coverage from all Bay Area events hosted by Bisnow, typically 1-2 per month, via recording
• Infiltrate the CRE industry — turning arcane data into useful and entertaining information while maintaining personal relationships with lots of leads and sources
