Requirements

  • Proficiency in game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) and VFX software (Houdini, Maya, EmberGen)
  • Knowledge of real-time rendering, optimization, and performance profiling tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail, committed to delivering high-quality work within project timelines

Responsibilities

  • Design and create visually stunning real-time visual effects for gameplay elements
  • Optimise and adapt VFX assets for various platforms, maintaining visual fidelity while adhering to performance constraints and platform-specific requirements
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and programmers to ensure seamless integration of VFX into the game world
  • Analyse and optimise VFX performance to ensure smooth gameplay and maintain high frame rates across different hardware configurations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in real-time VFX technology and techniques specific to gaming, continuously seeking ways to improve the visual quality and performance of your work
