Summary

Join Hike as a Tech Recruiter and play a hands-on role in driving recruitment for tech positions. You will support end-to-end hiring, partner with senior recruiters and hiring managers, source engineering talent, screen resumes, manage interview scheduling, and maintain the ATS. Leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing, outreach, and decision-making. This is a 1-year contract role with the possibility of extension based on performance. You will work with a passionate team and have the freedom to experiment with new tools and ideas. This role offers the chance to become an AI-enabled talent partner and learn to thrive in the modern hiring world.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in technical recruitment, ideally in a recruiting agency, product co or high-growth setup
  • Confident working across multiple engineering roles with shifting priorities and tight timelines
  • Familiar with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, ATS platforms, and basic Excel/Google Sheets
  • Curious about and comfortable exploring AI-powered recruiting tools
  • Solid understanding of tech stacks and engineering functions
  • Proactive communicator with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Organized, fast, and excited to learn on the job

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end hiring for tech roles β€” including SDEs (frontend, backend, full stack), QA, DevOps, and more
  • Partner with senior recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements and create effective JDs
  • Source engineering talent via job boards, LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche developer communities
  • Screen resumes for role-fit and coordinates first-level conversations
  • Manage interview scheduling, candidate communication, and feedback loops
  • Keep our ATS squeaky clean and up-to-date with candidate progress
  • Help run referral campaigns and keep a pulse on the best tech hiring channels
  • Contribute to a great candidate experience through clear and timely communication
  • Experiment with AI tools for sourcing, screening, and outreach
  • Stay updated on tech roles, skills, stacks, and hiring trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, HireEz, or SeekOut for sourcing
  • Exposure to employer branding or candidate outreach campaigns
  • Background in recruitment consulting or startup hiring
  • Analytics & Dashboarding β€” good at creating, maintaining, and presenting hiring reports and dashboards
