Summary
Join RapidSOS as a 911 and/or Public Safety Account Executive and play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding the company's footprint in public safety technology. This high-impact, consultative sales role focuses on working with public safety agencies, government organizations, and first responder networks. You will own the full sales cycle, develop and manage relationships with C-level leaders and stakeholders, navigate long sales cycles and government procurement processes, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive market expansion. The ideal candidate is a competitive, resilient sales professional with 5+ years of experience in complex, technical sales, proven success selling to government or enterprise clients, and technical and business acumen. Requirements
- Competitive & Resilient – You’ve demonstrated grit in high-performance environments (e.g., start ups, team sports, endurance sports, military, or leadership under pressure)
- Proven Sales Success – 5+ years of experience in complex, technical sales (e.g., SaaS, GovTech, Cybersecurity, Healthcare Tech, Enterprise Software)
- Ability to Sell to Complex Stakeholders – You’ve sold to government, enterprise, or regulated industries with multiple decision-makers
- Technical & Business Acumen – You understand SaaS solutions, cybersecurity, or AI-driven technology and can translate them into business value
- Self-Starter in a Fast-Paced Startup – You thrive in high-growth, ambiguous environments and have a track record of exceeding sales targets
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closing large, strategic deals
- Develop and manage relationships with C-level leaders, procurement teams, and technology stakeholders in public safety agencies and government organizations
- Navigate long sales cycles (6-12 months) and government procurement processes, including RFPs and contract negotiations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to drive adoption and tailor solutions
- Drive market expansion and strategy, identifying new business opportunities to accelerate growth
- Operate in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with uncapped commission potential and fast career progression
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public safety, GovTech, defense, or mission-driven technology
- Experience with government procurement & RFP processes
- Background in MEDDPICC or related sales methodology
- Former startup experience, ex-military, or elite athlete – we value resilience & adaptability
