Join LILT's rapidly growing Revenue Team as a Regional Director, a critical role leading and inspiring a team of 5-7 sales professionals. This position is responsible for driving regional growth, ensuring high performance in pipeline generation and quota attainment, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, proven leadership skills, and experience in software sales and localization. Experience in AI and usage-based business is a plus. The role involves managing team performance, forecasting deals, conducting coaching sessions, recruiting and training new team members, and developing strategic sales plans. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote work, with full remote options available anywhere in the US, with a preference for California-based candidates. Requirements
- Experience selling in the translation & localization industry as well as software sales
- 5+ years as a successful IC and 5+ years managing a team
- Specific experience in Enterprise sales management
- Skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business, procurement and contract teams, senior management and/or C-level executives
- Proven ability to influence & drive cross-departmental strategy and collaboration (Services, Product, Solutions, Senior Leadership) during deal cycles in creatively solving our clientβs business problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excels leading directly as well as influencing cross functional teams
- Process and solution oriented with a customer mindset and ability to challenge the status quo in order to uncover and prove out multiple land and expand use cases
Responsibilities
- Manage your team to attainment on pipeline, bookings, and revenue quotas
- Manage and forecast deals for your region with a high degree of accuracy
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions to provide guidance, support, and actionable feedback to enhance sales effectiveness and professional growth
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to ensure a smooth transition and integration into the team
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional targets
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and quota attainment, taking proactive steps to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align team goals with company objectives and market opportunities
- Drive pipeline generation initiatives, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads for the team
- Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to track, measure, and report team and individual performance
- Ensure sales processes are efficient, standardized, and aligned with organizational best practices
- Prepare and present regular updates on regional performance, including forecasts, pipeline health, and sales strategies, to senior management
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer success, and product to optimize the sales process and customer experience
- Work cross functionally with our success team to drive revenue expansion and overall customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BS degree (preferred) or higher from an accredited university
- Experience in AI and usage based business
