Join Semgrep, a rapidly growing code security company, as a Sales Leader to build and manage a high-performing team in the central and eastern US regions. You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining top-performing Account Executives, generating sales pipeline, closing deals, and collaborating with marketing and channel teams. This role requires extensive experience in software sales leadership, building regions for cybersecurity companies, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Requirements

  • Experience recruiting and managing a highly successful and talented direct software sales team while driving them towards success
  • Have built regions for cyber security companies at Semgrepโ€™s size, and understand/want to do it again
  • 10+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market and minimum of 3+ years leading teams/building regions
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process with an Account Executive and Sales Engineer
  • A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex Enterprise technology
  • Skilled in building business champions

Responsibilities

  • Actively recruit Account Executives for your team, according to Semgrepโ€™s hiring criteria
  • Ability to build in-depth and detailed understanding of Semgrepโ€™s products to confidently provide mentorship for your teams pursuits
  • Enable, develop and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build sales pipeline
  • Coach the team to close business and to navigate complex negotiations and organizations
  • Execute on Semgrep sales process
  • Onboard and ramp new Account Executives and accelerate their productive capacity
  • Run weekly forecast meetings
  • Scale, strategically plan, and develop sales territories
