Summary
Join EquipmentShare as a Regional HRBP and provide hands-on HR expertise and innovative talent solutions across various regions in the United States. This remote role with frequent travel requires collaborating with senior leadership, developing long-term strategies, and ensuring globally aligned people strategies are localized and deployed. You will be responsible for performance management, staffing, compensation, employee engagement, organizational design, talent management, and organizational change. Success in this role demands strong stakeholder management, building a bespoke HR model attuned to EquipmentShare's culture, and advocating for a 'field first' approach. The ideal candidate will be a nimble learner, supportive partner, structured problem solver, and data-driven HR professional.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business/leadership experience in Business Administration, Program Management, Human Resource Management, or related field
- Have at least 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, including HR Generalist Experience
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of HR functions, policies, best practices, and employment law
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization
- Have strong analytical and program-solving skills, the ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
- Possess experience implementing Diversity and Inclusion strategies
- Be proficient with or have the ability to learn Google Workspace (spreadsheets, documents, slides)
- Be proficient with or have the ability to learn Process Mapping software (Lucid, or similar)
- Be able to travel up to 20% regularly, and more often as the business requires
Responsibilities
- Provide HR guidance in the areas of performance management, staffing, compensation, employee engagement, organizational design, talent management, and organizational change in alignment with company objectives
- Earn trust of stakeholders by listening, teaching, coaching, and driving clarity in roles and responsibilities across stakeholder groups
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of key business priorities facing the organization
- Build a bespoke HR model attuned to the culture of EquipmentShare by becoming an SME of field operations and a key strategic partner to business leaders
- Ensure that global talent strategies maintain a โfield firstโ approach and processes are built while keeping the front line top of mind
- Lay the foundation for talent management (manager development, talent reviews, promotion processes, succession planning) and performance management (process discipline, 1:1 consistency, coaching, documentation, terminations) within your region
- Provide counsel and guidance to front line management on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Work closely with teams across PFO to ensure we are centering the employee experience, and reducing employment risks to the organization

- Be a supportive partner, who is able to communicate across levels, roles, and geographies in order to meet people where they are, and optimize support provided
- Be a structured problem solver and planner, with proven time management, process governance experience
- Have an ownerโs mindset, able to think through complex people problems, identify risk, and act independently while also knowing when to escalate
- Be a data driven HR professional who understands how to use metrics while progressing people initiatives
- Be a versatile team player comfortable handling ambiguous situations, able to provide upwards feedback and coaching, and open to shifting priorities as the business dictates
